Advocate for the rights of persons with CP to participate in development programs.
Provide psycho-social support to Persons with CP and their parents/guardians/care givers.
To advocate and lobby for persons with CP in inclusive development and decision making at all level.
To provide referral services to persons with CP.
Build network and collaboration with government and non-government main stream organizations so as to enable persons with CP participate and be included in the existing programs.
We offer community support services; these are a great services for new parents to get tips and advice from those who have already been through many of the early struggles of raising a child with cerebral palsy. By talking with people who have been in your shoes, parents and caregivers come out feeling more prepared for their family’s future.
As a network organization, we support parents/caregivers of children with Cerebral palsy to form support groups which help to:
Relieve stress and frustration.
Offer hope and an optimistic perspective.
Let families know that their struggles are not uncommon.
Find reassurance and understanding.
Provide a platform to share obstacles and achievements.
We ensure that families and children with CP have access to support through our community network supported by parents/caregivers groups. We match experienced, trained “Support Parents” with families in need. The groups are typically started and led by parents/caregivers of children with CP.
Through our community based services, we promote reliable -sustainable basic quality health home care services for children with CP within their communities.
