Need to change negative attitude of the parents, families and community members towards people with cerebral palsy

There is still a big challenge at home and communities where children and youths with CP are still not yet accepted by their fathers, the majority of whom have abandoned such children to their wives. This is still the biggest hurdle in the lives of people with CP to enjoy the same rights and possibilities like other people in the family or community. This is especially common in districts where UNAC has not reached in terms of mobilization and community sensitization. A lot still needs to be done to enable people with Cerebral palsy enjoy their fundamental human rights.
