Need for access to medical care for people with Cerebral Palsy

Access to health care services is a big challenge to people with Cerebral Palsy. Most drugs are expensive and unavailable in most of the health units especially in rural areas. This affects the social, psychological and physical well being of children and adults with Cerebral Palsy.

The UNAC continues to advocate for the implementation of Article 25 of the UN Convention on the Rights of persons with disabilities.
